Google Wave
A friend of mine sent me this link the other day. He has tons of PC’s in his house and knows quite a bit about computer programming. While I am not very good with programming, I like taking the programming and finding a way to make a usable product to get information to the masses.
The link was about Google Wave. Right now it is still in the testing stages but it is set to be released later this year. After watching the video from the Google I/O 2009 conference, let me say I am very excited to see Google Wave unveiled.
Right now I have requested to be a tester, but we will see if that happens. My biggest question at this point is wether or not people will be able to adapt. I feel like a lot of people will just use it like email for a while and won’t really take advantage of the technology.
I know during the presentation they were going for the “wow” factor…but there are some parts of this demonstration that caused my jaw to just drop in amazement. The video is long but you could try skipping ahead to a random point to see what Google Wave is all about.
